Take Action

Maybe you are like me, and you had never heard of the South Sudanese refugee crisis, the largest refugee crisis in Africa and third largest globally. South Sudan became a country in 2011, making it the youngest country in the world. Currently, there are 4.3 million South Sudanese people displaced from their homes, either as refugees, IDPs (internally displaced people), or asylum seekers. 2.3 million of those people are refugees and many live in refugee camps. And Uganda hosts 40% of those 2.3 million (over 900,000).

Support the Film

The COVID-19 global pandemic has hit rural villages in Uganda especially hard. With many more hungry mouths to feed, the local food supplies are limited and many are without food. FFCM is empowering its local churches to reach out to the most needy to provide food relief.

Support Food Aid

There are many other organizations working with and providing for the needs of refugees globally. Two organizations we like are the UNHCR and the IRC linked below.
